Plot - It's a murder mystery/crime thriller novel that I read in 2014 about a string of murders which occur but the police can't quite figure them out. The female main character is the daughter of a taxi driver with a mother who passed away years ago; she's got memory problems but I can't remember if these are recent or have been happening for a while. Later on in the novel, she has flashbacks of memories which she thinks are crucial to the solving of the murder and SPOILERS AHEAD, the murderer is revealed to be her father which she figures out after finding a bracelet in his car and the smell of female perfume. She ends up running from the house and her father chases after her into a train tunnel/track. I think he attempts to murder her but is unsuccessful, her father either dies or is arrested.

It was set in the modern era, around the time I read the book and when the book was published. I read the book in English but I'm sure it was also published in other languages.
