Hi, all.

Time to decide what to read for May.

Summer, Fall and Winter books seem pretty easy to find. But Spring is usually hopeful with the new birth of flowers and the budding of trees, the return of song birds to eastern climes. Do writers take the challenge to plop a murder in the middle of that?

Can we find a Spring time book? Official dates for the beginning and end of Spring 2923 are March 20 and June 21. We don't have to be quite that defined, though. Offer up stories that take place between late March and late June.

The usual disclaimers apply:
1. do NOT nominate your own book
2. if your book wins the poll vote you will be leading the discussion. Obviously you shouldn't nominate a book if you don't wish to participate.
3. also, please check the group's bookshelf to make sure we haven't read your nomination in the last couple of years.

You have until next Monday (3/10) to nominate, when I take the nominations and put up a poll.

Have fun!

Suzy (goodreadscomsuzy_hillard) | 702 comments I'll nominate Sinister Graves by Marcie Rendon. This is #3 in the Cash Blackbear series and takes place during the (almost annual) spring floods along the Red River in Eastern North Dakota and Western Minnesota. Book #1, Murder on the Red River, was a group read back in May of 2019.
