Just FYI - This roll takes me to space #15. d) In honor of PBT's 15th birthday, if you land on the 15th spot on your board, whether you move forward to that spot or backward to that spot, the randomizer will pick a number between 15 and 100, and you will transport to that spot on your board

Ok, well then thank you, Sabrina, for having The Many Daughters of Afong Moy on your board :) I've been jonesing to read it since it popped up in the Book Swap, so I'll start there and see how it goes

I decided to use it now and apparently I don't read a lot of books about Friendship. After a lot of searching, I determined that I have to go all the way from #28 to #64 to find one. Miss Iceland has 4 tags, not enough. I ended up with Remarkably Bright Creatures.
Wow! Everyone is jumping ahead with these special rolls!
Robin & Joy - you are such lucky players! @Robin - I doubt I'd find any on my Clerk board tagged sufficiently Friendship, but I've been surprised before at how many may tag something like that and I don't immediately see the reason.
Nicole-Your roll was 2-1, not 4-1 as you show at the bottom of your board-you should be on #82, not #84 unless you used a special-just let me know-but for now you are shown at 82. (sorry this would normally come from Anita in a message, but since she is gone all week-end I figured putting the message here would be ok).
Hi Joanne - I was already on 84 (The Story of More) and just hit 50%, so the new roll request moves me forward 3 spots from there to 87. I haven't yet updated my board because I'm just now seeing my new roll, will update now. :)

Just wanted to mention that - like last time - I won't be able to keep track of special rolls when only 1 die is rolled, but if anything (simple) comes up with the special rolls on 2 dice, I will check those and let you know.
Timing the next couple of days for me:
Saturday, I should be able to do the roll around 2:00 - 3:00 Eastern time.
Sunday will be a bit later, likely around 4:30 - 5:30 Eastern.
I'm glad Anita was able to finish up for today. I got here MUCH later than expected today with some phone issues I needed to sort out... then a friend stopped by! LOL! So, it's almost 9:00 my time (11:00 pm Eastern) and I'm just reading this now!

We are in sync with both days Cindy-My library's big Spring book sale starts Tuesday and I am at the library all weekend helping to prepare, meaning I won't get to updating the master until at least 5pm Eastern
Cindy, I am making a request for a roll today, Saturday. A two dice clerk roll! Amy is on the move! Thank you for Pitch Hitting. A note for Anita for when she catches up after her fab weekend in DC - I did completely finish and review the forlorn previously missed Court Dancer before asking. Didn't really love it but am excited to be "Back on Track!"

My roll of 1 yesterday plus my roll of 1 today is a special roll. Just documenting it here for Anita.
FYI: I have made a notion on the Master board of all the specials mentioned, so Anita will see them
Joanne! I am now working on #84. Which happens to be The Hidden School. Which is actually a sequel to the Way of the Peaceful Warrior which I swear that I read 40 years ago - and it was old then! I can't even find it at the library. I put it in my amazon cart. But its been on my TBR for forever and the Subdue Dice Gods said its time. I might have never read that thing.
That is where I got ya Amy- we left you on 77 until you cleared up the other matter😁
Wait - Joanne's discussion of special rolls made me realize!!!! I can read #83 or 85 - even if I need to stay on the actual number 84 for the rolling. I am not stuck with the Hidden School. Which now that I think about it, maybe its time to delete it from the TBR. I am off to research 83 and 85....
JoAnne, I should be on #88 before my roll today (due to the randomizer - see Anita's post 356 above). My move of 5 takes me to #93. OM's roll of 1,1 means I will move back 3 to #90.
From the rules:
1-1: The current leader must move back 3 spaces on their game board and read the book where they have landed next
So, I will be reading both #90 and #93 before requesting my next roll. I am pretty sure of this since I have been impacted by a 1,1 roll before but let me know if I have miscalculated somewhere. Thanks.

From the Subdue Rules: Any combination totaling 7: You move 7 spaces and stay on that space, but you may read the book you land on OR one book forward or one book back - - your choice.

I know this one as it is just about the only special roll I have received.
