Penelope Clearwater | 2 comments Hello everyone,
I'm a newbie. I'm looking for a short Russian storybook I read about 14 years ago. It was about a man and his wife fleeing from some armed men who were threatening them. I can't remember the title :(
Does anybody have an idea what it could be?

I also remember them fleeing and crossing a river as well. I believe it's in the thriller genre. I also remember things like they hide in a mountain where it snows.

i remember there was a character with the name 'kenekin' or something too

Len | 144 comments When you describe it as a Russian storybook do you mean it was published in Russia, or was it by a Russian author, or was it just set in Russia?

Capn | 3506 comments As per group rules (big yellow pop up, can't miss it!) we'll also need to know:

- approximately WHEN you read it (range of years is fine)
- the genre (adult fiction?) - sounds like yours is either an YA or Adult Thriller. That should be in your header (can edit - see yellow pop up!)

(A Mod is soon going to insist that you correct your header to include a brief description of the book or its plot - one sentence is fine. Something like "Character named Kenekin(?), fleeing across river to snowy mountains" and then as Len said, the Russian component as well)

Penelope Clearwater | 2 comments Thank you Len, Capn. I've corrected the header as well. Hope it is okay now.
I read it back in 2009-2010.
Genre would be adult thriller then I believe!
Also, I can't remember the author's nationality, however this story takes place regarding Russian people..
