Q&A:
Q: Can teammates read the same book for a task?
A: There are a couple of tasks where the team needs to read different books, but if it doesn't specifically say that you are free to read the same book.
Q: Are audio only books allowed for this challenge?
A: If the audio only book is at least 6 hours long - it will count as a book towards a book total or as 150 pages towards the page total depending on what the task requires.
Q: What are the rules if the book is so bad you can’t finish it?
A: I will accept DNFs if you read to the minimum page count of this challenge (150 p.) AND 70% of the book. Books need to be a minimum of 250 pages using the first edition Kindle page count. You must also state that the book is a DNF and explain why in your completion, including the page number you finished on as well. The page you finished on would be the number counted for tasks that ask the team to read a certain number of pages.

Just double checking on this task: 53. Each teammate reads a book set in one of your teammates' home town (born in, raised in, currently live in - all work). My team has never gotten this one, but I think I remember seeing in past Q&As that the state works for this task. Or am I remembering wrong?

But you are free to use to state if within the US or the country if outside the US.

I don’t know about you all, but I am so over winter this year! We are a week into April already and my daffodils have not even bloomed yet and we still have snow on the ground… 😒 So for your first task, as a team select a Spring Month - March, April, May or June. Each teammate then reads a book initially published in the selected month of any year. If there is a date at the top of the editions page - USE IT! Otherwise, I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month and the initial publication date in your completion posts.

I know this is kind a dumb question but when I look at Kindle books on Amazon I typically only see one edition. So if the book, in the following link, is the one I choose to read for this first task does it have sufficient information for the completion post? https://www.amazon.com/Otherwise-Enga...
Also, does it matter if I read the book from an e-book copy I have through iBooks or does it have to be the Kindle book referenced for the completion post?

To qualify the book you linked - your team would have needed to selected April and you would link to the book here on GR, not Amazon:

You can sort by format - select Kindle: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...
Here you see there are two English language edition published on the initial publication date of April, 22, 2014. You can use either of those page counts (345 or 352) in your completion post.
You should only use a link to Amazon for the page count if there is not one listed on GR.

As a reminder, new tasks can only be assigned as soon as every other day. So the soonest you can get a new task is tomorrow. But...I am going to be away all day tomorrow with my oldest grandchild, who isn't really a child anymore! Any team that posts their completion today or overnight will get their task first thing in the morning - and I do mean first thing! Otherwise, I will try to check in during meal breaks and again at the end of the night. I am set up and ready to post from my phone, but I likely won't be checking completions until Tuesday.
