(maybe this doesn't count but) I once went to the cinema around Christmas time with a guy I liked. When the movie was over it was already dark outside but everything was full with Christmas lights around us. We took a little walk and then it started raining. I had an umbrella with me, so we ended up sharing the umbrella (since he was taller than me he was holding it). Since I had a crush on him I used a cheesy trick to hold his hand, he didn't object so we were just standing there for a bit and looking at each other. That moment quickly ended and he suggested to walk me home ( I knew he had plans ) but I declined.
yes!!! (disclaimer: were not dating yet JK IDK AHUGH) this year i switched schools and literally all i could think abt that first week was how pretty this guy in some of my classes was but how we’d never be friends. i think like one week later on a friday there was a note on my desk. it said “quibli! i like ur name” i wondered who it was from but just put it in my bag. when i got home I REALIZED THE NOTE OPENED UP INTO A BIGGER ONE. and whos it from? HIM. lets call him ben for privacy. so BEN LEFT ME THAT NOTE. i was so happy. and the note was talking abt how HE wanted to be friends w ME. i was so happy but felt so bad that id didnt notice until then. a lot of things happened after like it WAS a romcom plot. so much happened its crazy. i could write a novel on it (probs will). anyway, were bffs now. we live far away from each other but im gonna see him next week for spring break <33

OH WOW. sounds more like a horror. i had a stalker but at least he wasn’t like THAT….

@sarah LITERALLY ME, this dude i liked for 2 years and i finally started talking. anyway, he was walking me to first period one day and we were joking & being playful/flirty. we had this saying, “happy wife, happy life.” anyway, during my connections (i had chorus + drama), this girl came up to me and was like “what's up with you and [ ], and don't tell me nothing 'cause i've seen the way you look at each other.” something happened (causing me to have to leave school) and he despises me now, but it was so cute while it lasted.

my junior hs days was like this really cringey coming-of-age novel that you enjoyed as a ten year-old, but rereading it makes you wanna throw the book at the wall. but there was this one guy back then that liked playing with my hair. he'd sometimes send me like songs that he wrote and ask me how i feel about it. idk if he wrote one about me because we kinda fell out of it after a while. i guess that's the only romantic experience I've ever had.
