Drace (dracenines) | 7438 comments So I have several threads going right now that involve both adding/correcting information on editions that already exist on Goodreads and adding new editions entirely. Most of them are in the Book Issues folder, but they aren't really getting much traffic. In the case of these threads, would it be better to leave them where they are and keep bumping, or move them to the Projects folder since they don't neatly fit into solely Book Issues or solely Adding New Books/Editions? Just want to see what the librarians think about this.

Drace (dracenines) | 7438 comments Alright, thanks for the info.

Bit of a long story here, but I actually did apply as a librarian last year. I got frustrated with how another librarian (will not be naming names) was handling (or rather, not handling) a particular recurrent issue across a few books, so I applied for librarian status out of that frustration since I figured I'd be able to help the site (and correct that particular issue). Months later I got approved, had the panicked realization that I was too busy with my job and my master's to really put in the time needed for the librarian position, requested my librarian status to be revoked, and finished off a bunch of my own threads while waiting for it to happen. Maybe there'll come a time when I apply again, but it probably won't be in the immediate future.

A librarian can put in as little or as much time as they want. Some librarians lie dormant for years.
