SOLVED. Juvenile book about a knight, a horse, in a place called Sausageland? [s]

does anybody know this book?
i borrowed a book multiple times from a library when i was a kid and now i can't remember the name of it. it was a childrens/teen book that had comic book-like drawings in the margins with a blue cover. was about a knight and his horse, I think they lived in a town called sausageland or something in that vein. there was a couple books, one of them I think was about a princess that went missing and in the end it turned out to be the king who just liked dressing up like a princess. another book was about a book of dirty limericks that was getting passed around town. his name was maybe sir knight or sir johnny but i cant be sure
