I'm only going to read the one I am because it's short. I'm not overly interested in it.

Amanda wrote: "i honestly wasn't a fan of any of the books on this lists this ho around haha. the review was like I had high hopes bit it was boring"yeah, i had a harder time this round too.. so i chose shorter books. River Of Teeth is pretty good so far.. not like anything i've ever read, but i doubt i'd read ita gain.
It's basically a book about how life would be if we owned / rode / ate speices hippos instead of horses / cattle?
Okay so i posted review links with all of my spell-out books and one of my banked books. I can't post my reviews yet, my son needs to get off to bed. But if anyone else wants to post for me, you're welcome to.. Otherwise i will tomorrow !
Amanda wrote: "I posted a review but if someone can update the SS for me today that would be super appreciated."NM! I found it!
I looked at Banked Books, and we can use these for Route Info. Trisha and BabyLunLun, will you be able to post your reviews in the Review Thread? If not, please let us know, and I can do it later today or tomorrow!!Trisha | Where Coyotes Howl (Sandra Dallas)/MC Name in Nile: Ellen

thank you!
how is everyone coming along with their detour reads? just want to check to see if i should read one more just in case.
I haven't started mine yet, but it's short. I'm in the middle of a longish one that's dragging, that I hope to finish today. Then I will start my detour book.If your book will also work for something else, it won't hurt to read it.
if someone can be so kind to update the SS for me for the next few books...my phone is being annoying and it wont load the SS for meApart in the Dark...ania ahlborn...pages 383...finished 4/19/2023
The house in the pines...ana reyes...pages 336...finished 4/20/2023
Green River Running Red...ann rule...pages 704...currently reading (works for detour if needed)
Can everyone who hasn't commented in the last day or so check-in? It's Thursday, so lets try to get everything that can be posted to the Review thread done today. That way we know what needs to happen Friday!
Shia, did you read for Yield? If so, can you add your book to the SS?
apart in the dark can be used for 12...authors initials...or can be saved...i dont know what the house in the pines can be used later if need be...if we need more for the spell out
Ok, I put Green River Running up by the Detour books. I put Apart in the Dark for Route Info. I put House in the Pines on the Banked sheet. Was that a BR? Looks like Trisha and Jenny also read it and they marked BR.
These books are on the Main Sheet and do not have read dates. Will they be finished?Route Info:

I think we should definitely go with the Good vs Evil list!I'm currently reading A Court of Wings and Ruin which is on there, and I won't finish before Fri ends, so I'll add it to the SS for that list!
I checked in this week and notified the team of my trip to FL, but I did read Out of the Easy. I don't know if it can be used anywhere but I will look. If anyone sees someplace it can go, please let me know. I do still need to review it.
no worries Vicki! I remember you saying that! if I get a chance tomorrow, I will look and see if your book works for anything. but if you have time, you probably know the book better than I do so check it out!
ok posted all of my books so far - I should be able to finish river of shadows for the detour tomorrow - do I have until midnight my timezone?
Kade wrote: "We have until tomorrow at midnight Rivht?"yes, midnight your time zone, wherever you are

I agree ashley...i think that will be the best bet and plus i have been wanting to read the more of the https://www.goodreads.com/series/4445... series haha so i will sign up for 1 maybe 2 for the detour
Kade! How are you? Is your child ok?I am going to post anything you have a review for, so that you don't have to worry about it. I hope everything is improving and you're home. I'll check back in and let you know if there was something I couldn't find and we can go from there.
Ok, I got all the Roadblock/Spellout books posted, so that's done! Here's the status of the Detour List:
🔲 Kade: River Of Teeth - not sure
✅ Amanda: The Bridge of San Luis Rey (Thornton Wilder)
🔲 Shia: A River of Shadows by Karina Halle - should finish
✅ Ashley: Heart of Darkness (Joseph Conrad)
🔲 Jammin Jenny: Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Bronte - should finish
We have Amanda's "Green River Running Red (Ann Rule)" to use if anyone won't finish.
Anything else we need to think about for this week before check-in / midnight? I think we're pretty good.
Jammin Jenny wrote: "If we want to do the yield, I have a book that works for it. We could try to team up with the team really close to us to knock down the one at the top, or use them to gain some momentum and get in..."
Shia read for Yield this week, so we can't use a yield this month. I think we can use the U-Turn though.
One more thing (I think) for now! I moved the banked books that I could to the spell-out for next week, so we almost have a full spell-out. I don't know if we want to try for 2 this time around, but I think we maybe could!
