Hi teammies. I've been sick for the past few days so I didn't get much reading done this week. I'll probably finish my books tomorrow .
okay! i'm doing my final reviews and updates. i'll do another look through the spreadsheet to see if i can move anything to count as points for us this round. If not, ill see what they'll count for tomorrow for the next leg.
I believe we said we were going to do the Rivers list for Detour, right?
Who will be doing which books?
Shia - did you finish the buddyread? I don't see it in the review thread and it has to be posted in the next 30 minutes to count.
Ooo I’m sorry! I thought I had until midnight. It’s only 6:30 pm for me. I’m sorry! I was finishing it up and about to post my review. Should i not do it anymore?
I’m not sure which time zone they go by. I could have sworn I saw eastern time zone somewhere. But maybe that doesn’t apply to this. Id say post it anyway if it’s before 1159 pm in your time zone.
Okay, now that I posted my last few for that leg. Here's what I'm gathering for the next leg. Spellout is BUGANDA, We should be able to do this at least once. Here's what is in the banked that works so far. Most are mine. haha. Just need one U and one A.

Detour List - Looks like we are going with the Rivers list.
We need 5 total reads There's not a lot catching but my eye to be honest, but here's some of what I can do. Here is the link - https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/6...
These are all shorter books, so i can definitely do more than one.

Our YIELD option is;
Read a book that is set somewhere tropical and has the words 'FRESH' and 'WATER' found in text
Our UTURN ;
Read a book where the main character is still in school (i.e., middle school, high school, college, etc.) and has been translated into 5 different languages (you will need to check other editions of the book)
I know check in was supp9sed to 4 to 6 pm est...I am not sure if est applies to end of leg
BabyLunLun's book "Triple Thread" fits route info - 13. Read a book where the main characters first name starts with a letter in NILE for the character Landry.Trisha's book "Liar, Dreamer, Thief" fits route info - 4. Read a book with a black cover
Those are the only other banked books as of now. <3

Is it a book or graphic novel? I saw you claimed volumes 1 - 3, and i also claimed two books, so we should be good if the page count is good.
but if anyone else wants to take out one of my claims for detour, feel free! but i think we can have more than 5 too.
Looks like we only need an U for the spellout as of now too!
Have speedbumps or switchback been announcned yet?

Shia - those graphic novels only count for page points then. Graphic novels count as 1/4 pages. Poetry counts has half.
I'm trying to catch up on reviews today - but do they have to be read within each leg of the journey? Because some of mine might be earlier. I'm still trying to get to grips with this lol

ok...i thought since we were 2nd because the 3rd team didnt check in we would count as the last team...but thats all good...ill continue reading my river books haha

i honestly wasn't a fan of any of the books on this lists this ho around haha. the review was like I had high hopes bit it was boring
