we might be able to do the spell out more than once, since it's short and depending on what we get read!
I'd read one of these: Tortilla Flat (256 pages), The Rain before it falls (256 pages), Men we reaped (256 pages)

It's a BR that Kade, Shia and I are doing. You are welcome to participate if you'd like also! :)

yes!
sorry for being queit today. i won't be on much tonight either. feeling kind of crappy. tomorrow, i'll be reviewing all my banked books.
ashley; did we confirm that we can count the intersection read for the detour as well if not, we do need more claims for the switzerland list for intersection. i can grab one or two more.
Double checking as I may have missed it in the thread, this is for the Set in Switzerland list, right?
If so, looking at the list there are a few Harlequin Presents titles on there so I can pick one of those up to cover a spot.

Ok, I can definitely cover a spot then with this book (which is on Scribd if it interests anyone else).
Since the book is in the Switzerland list, we can do it as a detour (with double points if we get the BR thread set up and do the required comments) OR we can do it as an intersection (also with double points if we get the BR thread set up and do the required comments). So, I think we should let other team members fill the Detour books, and we can do Intersection. If we have a missing detour book, we can use one there and the rest as an intersection.
Does that make sense?
I'm a bit confused. Are we posting stuff for the spellout and/or route info yet or holding it til later in the week?
Here is the link to the Buddy Read thread for The Book of Lost Names for those of us that are participating! I plan to start reading it tonight!https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I'm going to claim two books for the detour / switzerland list. The Hike and To The Back Of Beyond. Plus the buddyread we are all doing. Shia - are you still doing a book for it as well? Just want to make sure we have all 5 covered.
I'll also try to do the Switchback if one of my reads has the page count. I assume we get more points if multipole people do it?
I was wondering the same thing about the switchback. Also, I'm wondering if it would be okay for us to just put the books in the spreadsheet when we finish noting what they could work for, and then whomever is captaining (Ashley, Kade, etc.) can look and see where the book fits best (spellout, route info, switchback, etc.).
Would that be okay with y'all?
Amanda wrote: "when i finish the detour book...did you guys want me to post the review right away?"I think it's fine, Amanda. We are allowed to edit if needed

I'm fine with it.
Who is doing the spell out? There is only one book listed on the SS in the Spell out section, but several books that will work for it. Is there anyone doing a book that ONLY works for the spell out?

i also found an intersection book.

thanks for doing that! if no one has a problemw ith it, i can help move things on the spreadsheet tomorrow.. and i likely can fill in most of the openings or some of them.
i just added review links for my banked books to start. i have a few more books to review if i can get to it before bed. lol.
i put a book in for T in spell out. and posted the review link in the spreadsheet for when i can get back on the laptop to post in reviews. feel free to post for me if anyone can. same with the bnked books and their reviews lol.
Sorry I haven't been able to communicate as much this weekend and today, I was recovering my brain from Easter with related stuff and taking a short break. Hopefully I'll feel more motivated tomorrow and going forward. I started Love on the Brain as something a bit more light-hearted, after reading Wild, which made me SUPER emotional (lol) and then Kindred, which was good, but kind of dark. I was going to read the e book for The Book of Lost Names, but now I think I'm going to use one of my audible credits instead, since I often get emotional over holocaust related literature. I'm having a bit of an emotional book moment lol.

I was only reading it at this time because I thought it would be used for Switzerland. Thanks :)

I moved these from banked, etc and filled the spell out with completed books. They need to be posted. If you can't post your own book, let me know, and I can do it.
I'm thinking it is possible to complete another, if needed, but so far I think we have tasks for other things anyway, so it might not be necessary. If you find a book you CAN'T fit anywhere else, just let the team know or stick in in banked for next week!

I am not able to post for my book Ashley...if you don't mind doing that I would totally appreciate that
Last night Wadded a book to the SS but didn’t post it yet because I still need to review it. I will be home and can post this afternoon around 3:30 PST
