A ya book I read between 2006-2010 roughly where the love interest decides to go to pitt at the end of the book and the FMC possibly uses coconut shampoo plus other details

I read a YA book somewhere between 2006-2010 (I think publisher earlier though) that all I can remember is the love interest ends up deciding to go to the University of Pittsburgh. I remember that I read this book a few times so I must have enjoyed it but the rest of the details are lost in my memory. But this has been driving me crazy for years. I’ve gone through every good reads popular book post from 2006 on and I wasn’t able to find it. So if anyone has any idea I would be eternally grateful. I also think the male love interest was her friend so it might have been friends to lovers and that he was goofy. I think.
I also have two other memories of a book where she uses coconut shampoo and the guy is like you smell like the beach and I thought it was so ~romantic~ and I *think* it’s the same book but again I’m not positive.
Last memory is that she’s self conscious about her elbows being rough so she moisturizes them and then the guy says something like oh your elbows are really soft. Lol.

I cannot remember if these are the same book or different - but I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me identify them. Mainly the one where the guy goes to the university of Pittsburgh because I remember really liking that one and then at the end of the book he says something about going to Pittsburgh and I thought how random because I lived in Pittsburgh.
