Hi Karen,I have been away for a few days so I didn't see this sooner, but I am here and looking forward to playing.
I'll be choosing my books in the next couple of days.
I live in Montreal, Canada, and I do a lot of volunteering in a women's association.
K - Kindred
A - Along Came Holly
R - Replaced
E -
N -
Hi Lemonitsa! I am so glad to meet you! I believe we may have another group in common.
I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania (U.S.)
My list is not 100% set in stone, but we'll see. I think the Your Face Tomorrow: is a series title, not a book title.
I have been invited to a couple of other groups and joined. Will need to be more active there but Hooked-on-Books is my fave!
Hi Karen! I am in the middle of Along Came Holly and will be starting Kindred soon. I haven't chosen the others yet, but will probably have them by the end of the week. :)
I may switch a couple of books: Mythos: The Greek Myths Retold for M and On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century for O.
In the end I decided to read M Train by Patti Smith. This is such an immersive read for me. Even as a re-read. I started On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century.
I finished Along Came Holly and Replaced. We had a really bad storm this week and the whole city is still recovering. I'm trying to make up some reading time now.
I just finished the 4th book, after realizing that I could use the author's first or last name to fulfill the required letters.
Hi Lemonitsa, I have finished all 6 books. I am so thankful for having the letters n and y, because I read a couple of Japanese works that I have been wanting to read for a long time.
That is so awesome! I am a little behind but I will definitely have read all my letters before the end, I promise.
Hi Karen,I completely dropped the ball with this challenge. I am very sorry. Real life commitments took over everything. After the storm it was hard getting back on track with most of my work and May was all about putting together a volunteering convention which took place in my city this year.
All is finished now and I will be back to reading and joining challenges, and keeping my commitments here. Hooked on Books is my favourite group!
I am content with what we accomplished. I am a moderator for two groups, so I always bite off more than I can chew. Being laidback here, I was able to do more in others. Thank you for being my partner!
