Hi, I'm Chali (pronounced, "Charlie.")Born in Thailand. For the next few years I'm here in the UK (where my grandpa was born).
Anyone want to be friends? I'm friendly.
I'm Vicky, the apprentice cobbler. In three years I'll be a qualified (junior) shoemaker. The father of my dad's old army buddy is the craftsman. If I work hard and stick at it, I'll be fully qualified in seven years. I first walked into his shop when I was 12 and that is all I've ever wanted to be. I work as a waitress four evenings a week so as to keep my head above water. My life is: shoes, food, books. And sleep. Also, if you would like, I would like some book friends.
Hi, I'm in Canada and am trying to hold down two jobs. Reading is a passion and mostly done during my commuting.
I'm Nom. I live in Madrid with Nat. We're British and ran off. She'll join you now that I have. We do everything together. We'd like to be friends with you all.
Hi, I'm fumbling around in European Modern history at the mo'. I hanker for thrilling reads but shy from today's melange of preposterous, shoot'em up, sex 'em up, save the world tack. I'm looking for thrillers (not limited to fiction) that has roots in the real-world and asks you to think about what is happening.
Hi, I'm Emma or M. I'm not too keen on the world we are living in. Books are my escape. I yearn for the world we had between the two wars.
I'm Ellie, a nurse and I work in a care home for the elderly. Fortunately for me, I have a room - I'm usually on call - and so, food is cooked for me, I have no need to commute and I've little interest in the television and Bedford's main library is a fifteen-minute walk from my work.I read: Thrillers, Thrillers, Thrillers, and also, Thrillers.
Hi, I'm Emily. I'm 26. I'm shy. A single girl. Job hopping. Out an about. Staying sober. Doing what single girls do. Keeping my eyes open for... opportunity, a good man, a job where I'm paid to travel the world. Not much to ask!
Hi, I’m Lori from Calgary,Alberta, Canada. I’m a mom of two grown boys and a breast cancer survivor. I love to read most genres but really enjoy mysteries/thrillers.
Nancy wrote: "Please feel free to introduce yourself here! All are welcome."Hello, denizens of this group! I'm Expat Scribe, the author of The Invisible Cyber Bully: What it's like to be watched 24/7 (a psychological techno-thriller) and My Mother, the Good Witch Doctor: How Mom helped princesses with dyslexia (an illustrated children's book). I'm interested in topics that people previously laughed at me for discussing years ago but are now part of everyday life, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, mind control (previously relegated to sci-fi but now existing with Elon Musk's Neuralink), mass psychosis using subliminal suggestion, etc.
If any of you would like to connect, message/friend me on Goodreads, hit me up on facebook [dot] com [slash] expatscribe, or visit my website: expatscribe [dot] com. Thanks and may The Force be with you.
Hi! I’m new here, and still fairly new to being in a group. I’m excited to read Hidden Pictures and will start it today.

At present I'm, unfortunately, marooned in a big city of Scotland. Where I'm living, it's not safe in the evenings. I will head south as soon as I can but, for now reading is what I'm at. It would be good to make friends.
