Hi everyone,

Thank you for voting. Our next two Book Club+ MPC book selections are Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton and The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb. We will begin our online discussions on April 3rd to allow everyone a chance to find their books.

Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton is a 1990 science fiction book about prehistoric dinosaurs who are genetically re-created to live in a present day world. How does their re-existence change the people and places they inhabit? How does their environment change these prehistoric creatures, trying to live in a land and with people they are not familiar with. What chaos will their presence mean for all? Should genetics be manipulated to help people and planet or do we risk genetic engineering and the possibility of this research being used for all the wrong reasons and profit? What is the cost? Should nature be left alone? We will find out.
