Teen book: all boys friendgroup (one of them is always trailing behind, each boy has their own POV in the book, one POV happens in a cabin, another in a train, they also ride bikes I believe?? Spoilers.

I read this book about 10-13 years ago.
It's about a group of friends, I believe there are four or five of them (all boys if I remember correctly), each with their distinct personnalities. The whole book is a succession of stories that are told in each characters POV (the stories are linked chronologically).
We get to know the characters through their stories and the last story is about a boy who seems to always trail behind, he seems to have his head up in the clouds and only to notice everyone is already starting to leave a place when he stops "daydreaming".

SPOILERS AHEAD

(view spoiler)[ That last story in the last boys POV sort of retells al the other stories from his POV, which shows that he can see the "ghosts" or "angels" of people who will die soon. He also has his own ghost. That's why he's always left behing or trailing behind, because he's looking at other people's ghosts and is talking to his own ghost.
His own ghost however is no longer an idication that he is going to die. He met his own ghost a while before he was supposed to die, and during that encounter, he saw the ghost from across the street ; he wanted to go to his ghost so he crossed the street and almost got ran over by a car or truck, but his ghost saved him. By saving him, his ghost turned into his gardian angel.
He was supposed to die while in a cabin of some sort, getting into a fetal position in front of his friends to protect them from a bear and then being carried away by that bear into the mountains and probably eaten. But since he has a guardian angel he doesn't die during that story and keeps his guardian angel.
Also, his guardian angel looks exactly like him.

In the last story, also from the last boys POV, he is in a train with his friends and starts seeing everyone's ghost in that train. The train then seems to speed up but can't break, which means that it will crash and kill everyone. I don't remember how it happens but his friend group manages to stop the train and everyone is saved because he sees everyone's ghost dissappear. (hide spoiler)]
