i personally didn't really enjoy the fault in our stars and i dnf more then a half way through-my dark vanessa, the way i used to be, if he had been with me, it ends with us etc are the books that i would recommend, but i would search up TW before reading any of these
Hi Readers! I'm former stand up comedian and author of the recently released memoir, OK, Little Bird - if you're looking for a quirky, fast paced, irreverent, funny and very inspiring story, then I hope you'll read. You'll laugh, cry and and turn the last page inspired. OK, Little BirdAn unforgettable father daughter journey, shared through notes, voicemails, crazy family dinners, and unconditional love. When Little Bird experiences the greatest loss in her life, she navigates her grief with the gift of humor from her father. We all experience love, loss and grief - humor is an incredible coping tool that can help move you through the unimaginable even when you think it's impossible.

The kite runner made my heart throb really bad and it was too sad. I would suggest you check out the tws before reading it tho.
