Why the goodReads book challenge makes me depressed

the ungodly amount of reading I do on a weekly basis for my classes unfortunatley is not reflected in the goodReads reading challenge and although i know it shouldn't affect me it does. i've only read two "full" books from cover to back, but the amount of ARTICLES and PARTS of books have been much much more. I think im basically saying that i want to seem smart and my book challenge goal makes me look the opposite
- also this discussion is not about the book listed above its just that goodReads wouldn't let me post this without making it about a book
