Jean D'Osky | 2 comments I wonder how I go about to provide enough proof that I am the author of the books I wrote in order to join the Author Program. This seems very difficult, especially since I wrote my books under pen names.

My friend/colleague has written her books under her real name and three of her books are already added here. Her application to the Author Program was still rejected though. She did follow the recommendations and filled in:

- her email address linked to your Goodreads account.
- email address to the most recent publisher
- a link to Amazon that confirms the books have been or will be published.

She did not connect to her Facebook account however, as she did not remember her Facebook password. Maybe connecting to Facebook could resolve things for her. In my case, I have written two books under two different pen names. My pen names naturally don't have Facebook accounts. So, assuming my books will be added here as requested (they are both published and sold on various platforms and in some book shops), what can I do to prove I wrote the books, since the things above were not enough to join the Author Program, for someone who wrote her books under her real name ?

Librarians have nothing to do with this process.
