SOLVED! I remember reading a sci-fi novel where a boy uses an immersive gaming chair(or maybe a bodysuit?) to play games/roleplay. I remember him playing as a knight or in a fantasy setting and the book gets pretty steamy. I keep thinking of the book as 'Digital Fortress', but of course that's not right. I read this sometime in 1999. The book talked about immersive Virtual Gaming well before the technology had gotten all that far.

Dane, please add some plot details to your topic header, which is very general and vague right now.
You said this: "a boy uses an immersive gaming chair(or maybe a bodysuit?) to play games/roleplay. I remember him playing as a knight or in a fantasy setting and the book gets pretty steamy."
That's an example of the specificity we need in topic headers.
