Alright so only Alaina and Andrea've read Cruel Crown. Sweet. I'm going to be reading that now.

Finished! (view spoiler)[ I am very impressed! This book was amazing! I love the depth, drama and complexity added to the series. I loved that Ms. Aveyard embedded the quote, "anyone can betray anyone" in every nook and cranny of this book. It made the series more exciting and unpredictable. I loved the character developments in this book. I was surprised by how much I liked Cal by the end. I was not a big fan of Cal in Red Queen. I thought his character was a stereotypical prince where the prince is trained to be this super human being that's good at fighting, politics, etc. But also burdened by the responsibilities of the crown. He was this person in Red Queen but he became so much more in Glass Sword! I loved Cal in this book. He totally showed up in this book. Instead of that stereotypical prince, we saw Cal survive prison, offer tactical solutions, fly planes, and even fight. Yet even through all that, he has this underlying complexity that's compassionate to silvers and even his brother. But yeah...overall loved him in this book. Then there's also Shade and Farrow. I've always liked them and I was heartbroken with what happened with Shade. I'm excited to see Maven's development in the next book and where the story will go at this point. Overall, very solid read. (hide spoiler)]

Haha well my opinions to this series are weird to a lot of people. I know a lot of people enjoyed Red Queen but not so much with Glass Sword. For me, it was switched. I can see why though. Red Queen was fast paced compared to Glass Sword but I just loved the drama and the action of Glass Sword.

Overall RQ got the lowest rating and King's Cage had 0.5 star better. I still enjoyed the series overall, it's not my favorite tho haha

No I felt the same way!! I loved how dramatic Glass Sword felt and I actually felt it had more action than RQ. I was super bored learning the politics of the court and everything. Rather be out in the wilderness adventuring haha
