Read in 2019. Murder mystery with romance. The MC is traumatized and coping with it. MC is in high school. Her sister was kidnapped and some time late her sisters body was found and I believe her body was out in the open.

I read during the summer of 2019, I read it as an ebook, checked out from the Baltimore County Library (I was borrowing this on a relatives device while visiting them, I don't think they have the device anymore.) MC was a teenager but the book had a lot of mature content from what I remember. I feel like the number six has something to do with this book, maybe they were six when the sister was abducted or maybe they found the body six months later or the main story took place six years after the events. But sometime later the body was found and I think it was in the middle of the town, I vaguely remember a fountain being part of this. The sister was going to a halloween party where she dressed up as a playboy bunny and the people at said party played what I think was some elevated version of hide and seek. And at some point she went to a porch where she made out with this guy who she had been talking to but she feels like she can't be vulnerable or even enjoy intimacy with someone because of her sister. I feel like the cover had some pink and maybe blue. The book I think was relatively new, probably within the last decade. Time period was modern. The story took place in small town America I think. Author i assume was female, and english was its published language.
