March 2023 Group Read: Churn the Soil with Guest Author, Steve Stred

I’m excited this is group read in March and welcome Steve.
I’ll definitely be joining!

Welcome, Steve! Excited to read this one!!!

Haha she is awesome!

Cheers to those who've snagged a copy and to those who've read it already! It is available on KU as well, so for those who have that option, please don't forget about that!
Excited to see how you enjoy it and your thoughts!

Thanks! And hello friend!

What a fantastic cover! At first glance I didn't recognize the birds, which gave the creature a gruesome look with large horns and ears (and still does). Love it!
That combined with the mention of 'cold weather' and the first few lines of the book sealed the deal for me.
On such occasions I am grateful for ebooks, which make me one click away from reading the book and just in time for March.

Thanks! Yes, Greg Chapman does amazing work! I've loved seeing folks miss the two birds on first glances!

Hey friend! Thanks for having me! And thanks for your years and years of kindness and support!

There may be something going on with Goodreads in general. I know it wasn't letting me on the other day because it said there were too many people already on the site. Who woulda thunk so many people still read books?!

Cheers!

Thanks! I hope I don't let you down!

I think my issue was actually resolved! I logged out and logged back in. Usually I log in through my Amazon log in, but this time I did the Google one and the feed looks normal and is running way smoother!
But yes - I have had that pop up before haha!

I have been having issues as well logging in saying too many people are logged in or that my account doesn't exist ;( anyways, I am here now and just got my copy of "Churn the Soil" Looking forward to this read. Unfortunately, I can read 200 to 400 page books in a day (usually 4 to 9 hours) because I can't stop myself or put them down. Happy Reading everyone

Hope you enjoy!

I was super happy to see this as March's choice as that meant I had to buy it now rather than wait until I've read a few more on my TBR pile. So yay! My copy arrives tomorrow just in time.
I read Mastodon last year and really enjoyed it so looking forward to this one.

I wish I could read that long. If I can get an hour or two a day I feel so lucky! It's mostly because I have a hard time sitting still for very long. I'll have to work on that! :)
