I just got done reading the sample on Amazon. Looks like a great mix of horror and mystery.

I ordered my copy yesterday.
Welcome Steve and hello to all joining this month's exciting group read.What a fantastic cover! At first glance I didn't recognize the birds, which gave the creature a gruesome look with large horns and ears (and still does). Love it!
That combined with the mention of 'cold weather' and the first few lines of the book sealed the deal for me.
On such occasions I am grateful for ebooks, which make me one click away from reading the book and just in time for March.

Usually I log in through my Amazon log in, but this time I did the Google one and the feed looks normal and is running way smoother!
But yes - I have had that pop up before haha!

Unfortunately, I can read 200 to 400 page books in a day (usually 4 to 9 hours) because I can't stop myself or put them down. Happy Reading everyone

Hi Steve!I was super happy to see this as March's choice as that meant I had to buy it now rather than wait until I've read a few more on my TBR pile. So yay! My copy arrives tomorrow just in time.
I read Mastodon last year and really enjoyed it so looking forward to this one.
It was 80 degrees F here last week, I could use some colder temps in my lit.

I wish I could read that long. If I can get an hour or two a day I feel so lucky! It's mostly because I have a hard time sitting still for very long. I'll have to work on that! :)

Ok, I jumped the gun and started a day early and finished the same day. Y'all are in for a real treat. Get ready to have your hearts beating out of your chests. This book leaves nothing out and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not one dull moment and nothing to complain about. Great book Steve and I am looking forward to the comments in the coming month and hope to grab another book or two written by you. Now, I get to go to bed in the middle of the woods in a century old farmhouse (that is true by the way)
