Yessss, my fav too! Always the best.
My favourite is girl meets boy. Boy does something amazing that proves to girl that he's not normal. Girl must find out how he can do this. They (usually) fall in love.
Enemies to lovers and hear me out…fake dating. They spend time together and slowly fall in love with each other like it’s so goood
I think mine would those die hard lovers like uk war ppl who end up falling in love over time but they are fightings wars and stuff My fav couple like Percy and Annabeth from Percy Jackson series
And Jace and clary too from mortal instruments
i’m an absolute SLUT for grumpy/sunshine, especially if it is lesbian or academic rivals to lovers, but so far only found that in fanfic
Enemies to lovers <3 #1 favourite trope! It needs to have a good story behind it to make me KEEP READING 💜 💜

I personally like, found family, loves their face but still ends up kissing the wrong person, and enemies to lovers. (All I can remember off the top of my head
enemies to lovers (they hate each other then slowly start falling for each other, usually in cute or funny or romantic banters Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score, super good), fake dating/ marriage (just like enemies to lovers but in forced proximity and it always turns out a cute couple),
forbidden romance (they're not supposed to be together but they love each other or something hit or miss tbh Twisted Games by Ana Huang is a good one)
I can't think of anymore rn but there's a few I love :)
I'm a lover of love! I enjoy enemies to lovers, finding yourself/self-acceptance, fake dating, and tropes where both people want something so they make a deal that will satisfy both of their needs.
Love enemies to lovers romantic and platonic, found family, whatever the two boys got going on in The Buried And The Bound, that's heartbreaking and amazing (and heartbreaking)
friends to lovers is my all time favorite and a book rec for that would be love and other words <3 I also LOVE grumpy-sunshine, found family, second chance romance, etc!
Here are my fav tropes in order:1st: Enemies to lovers
2nd: Friends to lovers
3rd: Grumpy Sunshine
4th: Opposites attract
1. Childhood sweethearts/ crush to lovers 2. Villanous but caring parent
3. Friends AND Lovers AKA they always had a crush on each other, but also they get along as you would with a friend.
4. Platonic Soulmates
5.Found family
I LOVEEE a good enemies to lovers, or a good girl bad boy (or vice versa) , and a good grumpy sunshine
•friends to lovers•enemies to lovers
•marriage of convenience
•one bed trope
•forced proximity
all time fav :)) ♡ ♡
basically, you have a cynical and withdrawn person with an overly positive and bubbly person. The dynamic is often times romantic, though it can sometimes be platonic. Examples:
Will and Nico (Heroes of Olympus)
Kyo and Tohru (Fruits Basket)
Homura and Madoka (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)
An "enemies-to-lovers" with a "forced partnership" and "ugh I can't wait until this is over" to "oh jesus they're hot" "did you say something?" "I SAID I HATE YOU, YOU IGNORANT BASTARD" "..." and "mama mia i cant do this anymore" plus a little bit of "whatever, I still hate you you know" "sure, darling" almost always ends with "i hate you" "i love you too *insert clever nickname here*" in the middle of making out
" OH MY GOSH I LOVE THE QUESTIONNNN, Um, I think-"Enemies to Lovers
Grumpy Sunshine
One Bed Trope
Forced Proximity
ok I have a lot that I like:enemies to lovers
best friends to lovers
forbidden love
grumpy x sunshine
found family
fake dating
love triangles (controversial, ik)
Enemies to lovers, rivals to lovers, any variant of thatstar-crossed lovers
Found family
Miscommunication (in very specific cases)
opposites attract
fake dating
...and a lot more lol
•enemies to lovers or rivals to lovers•childhood friends to enemies/rivals to lovers
•found family
•forbidden love
•grumpy/shunshine
mainly these tropes :)
