Stacey | 162 comments The whole immortals after dark series is really good! All of them have different super natural characters i.e. vampires, lykans, witches, valkries, etc. all finding their mates and bonding whether they want to or not ;)

The first one is A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole

Indy | 61 comments Check out the following authors who have several books along those lines that I would recommend: Christine Feehan, Rebecca Zanetti, Suzanne Wright

ℸℎℯrℯᏕα (wwg1wga) | 41 comments I just discovered Alanea Alder's Bewitched and Bewildered series and really enjoyed it. Here's the first book My Commander (Bewitched and Bewildered, #1) by Alanea Alder .

I've read all the other authors you've mentioned but I haven't read Christine Feehan. What should I start with?

Indy | 61 comments Feehan has a slew, I haven't ever read them in order, believe all standalones. Only minor complaint is they tend to follow same recipe - alpha male, only one female destined for each hero, fight with evil, HEA. However I can appreciate predictability when it's well written and has good character chemistry.

Is there one that stands out as being the best?

Indy | 61 comments Dark Prince (Dark, #1) by Christine Feehan is a good place to start; it's been a while, this is the series that got me interested in trying out paranormal romance, enjoy!

Dark Prince (Dark, #1) by Christine Feehan is a good place to start being it's the first in the series and is good. But I've read like 12 books in the series and Dark Magic (Dark #4) by Christine Feehan is a stand out to me. It is about the daughter from the couple of the first book. Good luck

Ellie I've read all the seven series books so far by Dannika Dark I enjoyed them and they are a real easy read. They just get better and better! This is the first in the series Seven Years (Seven, #1) by Dannika Dark The next one is due out 6th April, so I cannot wait!

Gem Larkspur (gemsl) | 61 comments This series gets hotter as it goes along. It's not quite 'the one true mate' although there are elements. It does have a unique twist - time travel.

State of Grace (Resurrection #1) by Elizabeth Davies , Amazing Grace by Elizabeth Davies , Sanctifying Grace by Elizabeth Davies

My recall is the first is free and the other two are under $5.
