As you own the book would you be willing to provide your own scan or photograph of the cover?What is the correct year if publication? Amazon and AbeBooks seem to give 1982?
Yes, Modern Library reissued the 1930 illustrated edition in 1982. The cover that the link goes to, and the book that I purchased, is the 1982 Modern Library edition.I will provide my own scan, definitely. It will likely be some weeks before I will be able to, so when the time does come should I post it to this topic, or create a new one?
Is the Goodreads listing incorrect, or was there a further reissue in 1992?
As far as I know it is incorrect. I searched a long while before deciding on that particular copy, searching mainly by use of the ISBN, and did not see any 1992 editions.

Hello Martin. I hate to ask but I did rescan that book cover on a much better scanner. The cover photo for Moby Dick that is now on my profile is much nicer and truer to the original. If you have a spare minute and want to update it, I'll keep it there for a while.

Good day, Martin. After further looking into it, I have realized that the original cover I had put on here is much more accurate. So much for quality scanners. I have put the image back in my profile pictures.
I know it's silly to ask yet again that you update it, but considering you are still the very top Goodreads librarian, I figured I'd ask one more favor.
