I didn't like this book at all, and neither did the other women in our book club. Cohen is obviously brilliant, but has a very "wordy" style of writing that I found to be tedious. If something can be said using 10 words in a succinct manner, he uses 25 or 30. He uses a lot of "big" words that I was too lazy to look up. It's a fictionalized account of a time when Benjamin Netanyahu's father came to the USA for a job interview at a college and brought his whole family. It was a fairly humorous event, but not "hilarious", as has been described by other readers. Around 8 f-bombs toward the end of the book; no actual sex scenes are described, but there are mentions of a teenager's naked erection and coarse descriptions of a young woman's nudity. Although it won a Pulitzer prize, I don't recommend this book.
