I read this when I was 10-14 probably so around the early 2010s-2015?

I'll be honest this plot popped in my head for a minute so I don't actually know if this is a book I read or a mix of plots. Basically the plot from what I remember is like a deaf boy I wanna say 10-14 years old who goes to a deaf school and can sorta of hear. I think his parents are deaf as well. I remember I learned that bells at their school were red flashing lights since many couldn't hear. I am getting a gut feeling that this book is apart of a series unrelated to deafness. But for this plot it is one book focused on a deaf child.

I'm finding a lot of books about schools for the deaf, but they either star girls or are set in much earlier time periods.
