Added! Please add "done" to thread title.

Sidenote, I've noticed that it can be hard for librarians to add brand new books to a series. Even if the book page exists, when we try to add it via the series page it won't come up in search results. Maybe a database issue? All this to say, your post was probably not being ignored but there were perhaps technical difficulties on our end. Thanks for bumping the thread!

Previously I have noticed that if you search the "add a book to series" box with the ASIN or ISBN of the new one rather than its title, it will come up right away.

Thank you for mentioning that; I've used that trick successfully in the past! Unfortunately there have been times (not in this particular case) where the author is creating a placeholder entry for an unpublished book so those numbers don't even exist yet. In those cases I don't know how to help. D:

What I've told people that did not have an ISBN or ASIN yet is to wait a couple days and then reply to the same thread. :-) Due to caching there's not much else to do.
