It was logical that the FBI would want to talk to Murphy. I never believed that Murphy was the shooter.
No, I never thought Vinh was the sniper. He was so drunk most of the time, he wouldn't have been able to conceal himself and commit the crime. He would more than likely have walked up to the gate and shot Ebersole face to face.
I never thought that Murphy killed Ebersole. If he was so black-out drunk that he doesn't remember killing Ebersole, I doubt he'd be able to shoot him from a distance with any accuracy.
It never occurred to me that he’d killed Ebersole. In addition to being too mentally and physically impaired to pull something like this off, Murphy’s not a renegade. It just wasn’t his nature.
