As if starting high school isn't hard enough. . .now Nick has to hide his new friends from his mom, his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How in the world is he supposed to do that?

So I'm a little behind, but I'm about 1/2 done the book now (started after work today).
Here are my thoughts so far:
Ch 1 (view spoiler)[ Well...that started out with some quick action. I'm quite intrigued and think I'll really enjoy this. Some of the names are just a little bit insane, but whatever, I think I can live with that. (hide spoiler)]
p 60 (view spoiler)[ Kyrian & Acheron know each other. They don't sleep a lot. Kyrian carried Nick. What are they? (hide spoiler)]
p 74 (view spoiler)[ So now Nykoda & Menyara are supernatural too? This is getting weird. I really want to know what's going on! (hide spoiler)]
Ch 4 (view spoiler)[ ZOMBIES?! And half the kids know something is going on or are something else? Stranger & stranger... (hide spoiler)]
Ch 6 (view spoiler)[ Ok...so I may have to change my mind on the whole 'zombie genre' thing - this is actually quite surprisingly really good. Still confused as all get-out but entertained! (hide spoiler)]
p 228 (view spoiler)[ I can't believe how much I'm liking this so far even though I feel so lost. And I also can't believe how fast I'm reading through this! The whit & quips just keep coming & I'm just loving the characters and the pacing! Now to find out what is going on! (hide spoiler)]
