Unconnected book/create series (Done)

These books need to be connected as a series. The Song of Achilles
Heracles' Bow
The main book is the song of Achilles, the second is a sort story. I’m not sure what order they go in. Madeline Miller

I can't find any information from an official source indicating these two books should be considered a series. Do they share the same characters or world? Or was one just published alongside the other?

They share the same world and have characters mentioned but not necessarily making appearances. Circe is also a part of this world.

JMO but this seems a bit tenous to me. Circe & Song of Achilles were hugely popular books. If they were a series they would have been made one before now.
