If things slip your mind, it could mean that your brain is frozen. The only way you can tell is if your head feels REALLY COLD. ;)
Jim

Just a quick reminder like you asked that I won't be here from Friday to Friday next week due to going away for Easter. I have already updated my review for this week to team 16's page, but won't be here for next week's and will resume again thereafter.
Thanks!

I just heard from her.

The book is

Since they're helmets I'll let them make it. It's kind of a gray area but I think it'll be ok.

I was wondering if Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsdawn would count as 1st in series. Only because if you look at the Pern Chronological order it's first but technically she wrote it 9th.
https://www.goodreads.com/series/4933...

Since the page you linked shows it as book 1 also, it would be ok. If you do use it I'd include the link to that page with your review.

I have a question about this book:

Now, I'm not sure who did it and why so I'm afraid to add the series info back. In the author's site, she doesn't market any of the books as a series but says they are "related".
So the question is...can I read it as #6 in a series or as a standalone?
LOL, sorry for the long question!

That's what I thought! Thanks!

Does the book have to begin with a 'B,' or can one of the words in the title begin with a 'B?'
Thanks!

So The Best would work, Red Blood would not work.

This'll pull up all the ways it's been shelved.
Then use the control find feature on your computer and enter in the shelfs name. You'll have to do it through each page of shelves though.

Another method would be
1) pulling the book.
2) Right after Friend Reviews are the following: Reader Q&A and Lists with This Book
3) If you click on "lists with this book", it will have all list that contain said book.
**I will say I have found Paperback edition may have different lists that then e-book edition based on how the book was shelved.
But this method works a little faster than the method Jenne uses. (Jenne's method works too!)

All the shelves that Jenne used for alternates are not genre specific so if the book that I'm looking for doesn't fit the shelf very obviously, I look at several things before checking all the pages in a shelf:
a) shelf title (I can tell without clicking on it that "Beautiful Covers" will have a lot of YA)
b) number of books in the shelf
c) books in the first couple of pages
d) number of people who shelved the first book with that shelf (which you can see a note next to the book - shelved X times as Y.)
That will give you the flavor of books in that shelf and you can gauge if the book that you are interested is likely to be in there. Very popular books are in many shelves (we have a running joke in another group I'm in about Harry Potter...I think we've found it in every imaginable shelf, not matter how unlikely.)
If a shelf is not used by many people (which you can see by d), then the likelihood that a particular book is in the shelf might be low unless you happen to have the same taste as one of the "shelvers". For instance, "Made Me Cry" is used by a lot of people (judging by the over 1,000 people who shelved the first book like that) while "Read Me" isn't as popular (first book was shelved by 6 people).

Everyone's "Set Aside" link should be working now.

I want to read
