I am looking for the title of a Sci-Fi short story (a few pages long as far as I remember).
I read it in my English class in high school. It was in my textbook (I was scolarized in France, but was in the bilingual English class, so the text book might have been published in England/USA, since we almost never used French material in my class, but I'm not really sure anymore). So that means I read it somewhere between 1996-2000. I think it was more precisely in 1997-1998, but I'm not really sure anymore.
The story is about two friends watching what we think is a moonrise, but we discover at the end of the story that it is actually an earthrise.
They are talking about inhospitable globe in the sky, etc. which makes us think is the moon. But by the end, we realize it is actually the earth, that has become like this because of pollution, weather issues, etc. and that they are actually living on the moon.
