Very excited to continue this journey! I’ve been impressed with the first three books up to this point.
While I'm not reading the book, I'll keep an eye on this thread to restore some good memories of this book.

No problem! Hope y'all enjoy!
No problem! Hope y'all enjoy!
I’ve made it up to ch11 so far (blew off work finally to make some reading time!). So far, an interesting start to this one. I can’t imagine (view spoiler)
Finally getting back to this one. Work has been overwhelming to say the least. :(Hope to make more progress in the next week!
Sounds good, Ginger, and you know I get that. I’ve been working away at it and am at ch23 so far. I’m enjoying it.
I am about 80% through this one - I may finish it today. This book in particular has been a great volume in the saga!!

Just finished up - my favorite volume thus far! Great storyline in this one, a real nailbiter. I can't wait for the next one!
Denis (deez_bookish_adventures) wrote: "Just finished up - my favorite volume thus far! Great storyline in this one, a real nailbiter. I can't wait for the next one!"Wow, can’t wait to get to the end. I can already tell that things are about to get tense between the OPA & RCE.
I’m at chapter 16 finally. Amos’s response to (view spoiler)

Amos continues to be such a great character! I definitely want him in my corner
Don't get in the way of the company town ... a shootout at the O.K. corral ... a duel on a bridge ....This volume had a kinda wild west feel to it.
Happy Birthday, Ginger! And I agree with your last comment about OPA, RCE, and the Colonists (squatters)... It feels just like racial and political issues here in the present-day, only fast-forwarded a couple of hundred years. Amos was my favorite character in the TV series and is here in the books as well. He sees a problem - he fixes the problem. Whatever it may be. I love his simplicity! :)
I agree, Graeme. It does have that "Wild West" vibe to it.
Thanks so much Kasia and Denis!! The best birthday gift that I got today was not working and having the day off. Can't get any better than that. hahaha!
Kasia wrote: "Aww that's the best! <3"After the last month that I’ve had, you have no idea how great that is! 😂🤣

Sounds perfect Ginger. Glad that worked out for you at least.
Denis (deez_bookish_adventures) wrote: "I agree, Graeme. It does have that "Wild West" vibe to it...."This is so accurate. hahaha!
And yeah, Amos is the best. It's fantastic in the TV series as well.
I finished this morning and love this one just as much as the others in the series! What's fantastic about his book series is how the writers keep taking the protomolecule and (view spoiler)It's like a moving target that they'll never be able to hit or understand! :D
Sally wrote: "Hey guys! Happy super belated birthday Ginger! Are you all wanting the next book in March?"Hey Sally! Happy Belated birthday to you too! I hope you had a fantastic day and got to eat lots of cake.
Yeah, I’m good to read the next book. I feel like I’m on some momentum here with the series and don’t want to let that fade.
Sally wrote: "Hey guys! Happy super belated birthday Ginger! Are you all wanting the next book in March?"I’m good with March.
Ginger wrote: "Terry wrote: "Glad you loved it too, Ginger! You’re right [spoilers removed]"Me too Terry!"
Do you think you’ll know what’s going to happen for just one more book?
Terry wrote: "Do you think you’ll know what’s going on for just one more book?"I think book #5 and #6 are the last ones that they did with the TV series. I’m excited to see the differences though since there’s been many and then after that, it’s going to be a whole new world for me! It will be like entering the Rings for the first time and not having a clue. 😂🤣

Darn, I was hoping it was just one more before uncharted territory.
Sally wrote: "Thanks, Ginger, my fellow Aquarian! I'll set up the thread for March."Thanks Sally, my beautiful Aquarian! ❤️💕
I’m just up to chapter 11 for this one and figured I’d try to read through some of the comments. Firstly, very happy and VERY belated birthday Ginger! I am trying so hard to get this one done much more quickly. I have a snow day today so hoping to get a good amount of reading in!

Thanks Kristen!! I appreciate the BD wishes.
I hope you get to read a ton today due to the snow. I’ll be starting book #5 tonight and looking forward to it!
I finally just finished this one! I went to finish the last 40 pages this morning, when I realized my library kindle loan expired today and there were no more copies. I had to go to the library and get the physical copy 🤦🏻♀️. But I really liked this one a lot. The end with (view spoiler)

This one had more differences in it than the streaming series and I really liked that! I prefer the book more now after finishing it.
Do you want to know something about Havelock? It’s how the book vs streaming series treated his character. If you don’t want to know because you want a spoiler free TV series, I won’t tell you.
That’s why I’m asking first before throwing it out there! 🤷🏼♀️😂🤣

I had to go to..."Yes, sure let’s hear it! I’m watching the series with my husband, but he has not stayed awake for more than 10 minutes each time. We are literally on season 1, episode 2 after weeks. Who knows how long it will be until I get there on my own!
Kristen wrote: "Ginger wrote: "Kristen wrote: "I finally just finished this one! We eventually get through a series but it takes time and both of us getting enough sleep. 😂🤣
Havelock - (view spoiler)

I’m skipping these spoilers until I watch the show. I’m like you Kristen, I’ve only watched two episodes so far in season 1.
Kristen wrote: "Oh wow! I totally agree!.."Completely agreed! After I finished the first book, I started scratching my head and thinking, (view spoiler)
