I knew it was Elwin! Although I do hope, Sophie isn’t bratty. I doubt that she will be because she seems to appreciate Elwin a lot for what he’s done for her. I am a little suspicious. That he may not be the father of Sophie because of what people said above in the comments about Elwin knowing her, but it may also be like they didn’t know who the other person actually was.

Ok, expected. I always had this feeling it was Elwin bc he has "the 'Sophie Survival Kit' and the list of 'Crazy Messes That Sophie Will Find a Way to Get Herself Into'" (Excerpt from Medical Record For Sophie Elizabeth Foster, Unlocked), which strikes me as odd. For one, why keep a list of ways one person can get hurt? Two, why does he have a "Sophie Survival Kit" (Excerpt from Medical Record For Sophie Elizabeth Foster, Unlocked)? The logical explanation is that Elwin is Sophie's dad.

Sophie acted justifiably bratty with Oralie because Oralie didn't have much to do with Sophie. Elwin has a lot to do with Sophie, and is really kind and stands up for her more than Oralie, so I don't think Sophie would be mean to Elwin. She'd be mean at first, and then realize what Elwin's done for her.

ELWIN CANT BE HER BIOLOGICAL FATHER!
Reasons:
1)Elwin is allowed to be fond of sophie without being her father.
2)Also the only reason sophie cant find out is because it will be bad for their parents. No idea why it would be bad for elwin
3)ALSO in one of the books(cant remember which at the moment), forkle repeats that to sophie WITH elwin in the room! sophie says its unfair and elwin AGREES!!! so if elwin wwas her father, forkle would've just said it then and there !!!???!!!

Chapter 23 book 1 started my Elwin-is-Sophie's-dad-idear
here is the exact pages that got I got the idea.

"Welcome back." Elwin said, placing a cool compress across her forehead.
"You know, for a girl who hates doctors, you sure can't seem to say away form the healing center. " ( Bla bla bla, I can't be bothered writing all of it)
"Where's Fitz? Is he okay?" Sophie said.
"He's fine." Elwin pointed to the bed to her left, where Fitz lay with his eyes closed.
"Whathappenedwhathappened." Fitz mumbles as he wakes up.

Elwin was next to Sophie when she was unconscious and waking up. but he wasn't near Fitz when he was unconscious and Fitzs had hit his head a lot harder than sophie. If I was Sophie parent and the doctor for the school I would stay by her side until and after she woke up.

I honestly don't get all the Fitz hate. I mean, YES he can a jerk some- well- most of the time, and he DOES have major anger issues, and Keefe will always be better, but still, does he REALLY deserve all the hate?

I’m pretty sure that Mr. Forkle said that her parents didn’t know that the other person is Sophie’s other parent, not that they didn’t know each other, but I might be wrong.
