I'm currently reading The Hobbit (The Lord of the Rings, #0) by J.R.R. Tolkien hoping to finish that and the first book in the Lord of the rings series The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien

Some Girls Are
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown

I also wanna pick up another non fiction

My Beloved Brontosaurus: On the Road with Old Bones, New Science, and Our Favorite Dinosaurs or The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women

And I need to read The Light Fantastic for around the disc in 800 days. only 6 days to do so.

Tawallah | 26 comments The benchwarmers I read were

Since 2019 -
The Elegance of the Hedgehog - set in Paris, France

Blood of Heirs - an indie fantasy that got great reviews and I kept putting off. Rough start but then got better. That ending.......

Since 2020
The Last Coyote- Harry Bosch is such a complicated LA detective
The City We Became- N K Jemisin what an ode to New York

Since 2021
The Book of Koli- a refreshing take on dystopian fiction.

So the country I will choose for January is France.
