Review: I was pulled in from the first page, but I was on a bit of a seesaw of feelings about this story. On the one hand it had a lot of the tropes that I love: single dad, sport, 2nd chance, but it had one of the things that I dislike, and that's when reasonable people can't go through their regular lives without constantly thinking about this person they want to be with.

It's wasn't that bad here, but it does annoy me when it does. You both had a life before each other.

I will say that I was glad that the woman wasn't constantly chasing after the man in this piece. She had legitimate reasons for being cautions about getting involved with him and she took the time to decide how she wanted to proceed. So think you Millie (and Devney) for that.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing who else gets their own story at TSU. I'm hoping Rush and Toren for sure.

Spot: 83 - Author 'P'

Review: Geekerella introduced me to the convention world. The Princess and the Fangirl made me want to text by online best friend (who I met through fanfiction) and make plans go to Leakycon. And luckily I looked it up and this year's is in Chicago, right near me. Leakycon, here we come! This one was all-around magical.

The Bungalow Mystery (Nancy Drew, #3) by Carolyn Keene

Book: The Bungalow Mystery by Carolyn Keene
How it fits?: #3 in Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series
Date finished?: 4/14/2023
Rating: 4 Stars

Review:
I've been revisiting the original Nancy Drew series after not enjoying the rebooted series and The Bungalow Mystery was definitely a good one. The mystery was engaging and I enjoyed as Nancy began digging into the issue of Laura's shady guardians and missing inheritance. Nancy is at her best here and I really enjoy the original version of her character. Overall, a solid and entertaining mystery.

Double Love (Sweet Valley High, #1) by Francine Pascal

Book: Double Love by Francine Pascal
How It Fits: Author with a 'P' name.
Date Finished: 4/14
Rating: 5 stars
Review:

I enjoy this reread because of the nostalgia that comes with it. I was obsessed with these books as a kid and even now, I plan on going through as much as the series as possible because they are still just as great.

Reading through adults eyes has been very interesting. I definitely dislike Jessica as much now as I did back as a preteen. Even now as an adult, I definitely get why younger me related to Elizabeth so much. Did some say codependency and the need for therapy?

It was 5 stars then and it's 5 stars now.
