   Adam was forced to examine his feelings for Tony. I'm not sure that he was as invested as Tony, but he was on his way to getting there. The idea of a life without someone who loved him, was his trigger to make things right.

     Again, this fits in with Adam's selfishness. He was only worried about Tony to the extent that it influenced his own wants and needs.

I did like the fact that Sam put aside his own dislike of Adam and helped him (even is advice at the end of the last book was just as much for Adam as it was for Robin and Jules). I love Sam!
        
      I wonder if Jules & Robin are aware of how much Sam has helped them in keeping Adam at bay!
I don’t know…Adam saw that Tony did what he said he would do after leaving and it made him hang in there. He was attracted to him being a SEAL but also knew how dangerous his world was. I found it interesting that he kept looking.
