K. Aten | 11 comments Previously books shown in the pages of my Author Dashboard were in order of most popular (reviews/ratings) to least. The books are now shown in random order with no regard to popularity. Is there a glitch? I tried logging out and logging back in with no change. I was just on the site a day or two ago and this is the first time I've ever seen this.

Sandra | 31607 comments Only you as the author can see your Dashboard.

If there is a problem you'll have to contact support, as librarians only look after the database and don't have any input to site functionality.

K, I noticed this too, my books are all jumbled up. Did you find an explanation/solution?

message 5: by K. (new)

K. Aten | 11 comments I wrote to support as requested. I got an email back telling me to do certain things, which I did. Then they asked for screenshots, etc, which I provided. Never heard anything else. No response from Goodreads support. :/

Alexis Lenderman | 7 comments Hello, I cannot edit my author profile even though I am logged in under my Author Profile. I need to update my name, website, bio as it is all out of date

Scott | 10356 comments Anybody needing help with his or her profile needs to contact support. Librarians cannot work with them.

K. Aten | 11 comments Not to anyone needing help on this issue, I contacted support. This is what I got:
"I don't have an update to share about this. As I mentioned, I've added your report to the developer ticket, and I will also pass your feedback along to the product team."

Basically they don't know what's wrong, don't know how to fix it, or both.

Sorry they haven't been able to fix it.

Other authors with dashboard/profile issues should still contact Support—there's nothing librarians (who don't have access to claimed author profiles, or to dashboards) can do, and more information/reports might help Support figure out what's going on.

K. Aten | 11 comments Yup, I know. That's why I contacted support. And while two issues may appear similar, they may have different causes so it's important to get your issue specifically addressed to, at the very least, have their own profile flagged.
