i read demian by hermann hesse in english but i'd love to read it in german! it is a complicated book so i assume the original german would be even more hahaha
I can speak 4 languages (Italian, English, Arabic and Turkish) but actually I read only in Italian, so this year I would like to read more in all the others 3 languages too.
@fishie ibe read both demian and siddhartha! both such great reads! i truly think reading a book in its original language will be more fulfilling than reading an english translated one
@tabitha i've heard almond is really good! good luck on your studies! i also want to learn korean to understand bts lyrics more so lets work hard together 👍🏽
@sara omg sara a little polyglot how cool!!! i started learning italian but i told myself i would learn spanish first (since that is the second language i grew up with) im on a mission to consume more media in spanish so lets do our best! 💪🏽
@yare: i agree! and the construction of the sentence itself can convey so much that is sometimes lost when translated to english.

for me it might be the little prince, originally written in french. i feel like a children's book would be an easy one to start with!
