I read it in 2022 as an e-book through kindle unlimited - I think it is part of a series with the same setting but with different main characters for each book. I cant remember if it contained actual shifters or just dominant alpha males
Spoilers ahead

Book starts with a young girl sitting by a river (I think) who has her first kiss with a boy who is then called away. Years later she is living with her blacksmith father who wants her to marry but she doesn't want to leave - I think she may have been married before but her husband died pretty soon after.

An older alpha male who is visiting her village sees her and he makes an agreement with her father that he will take her. He takes her back with him and begins to mate with her. I'm sure there is some knotting. There is trouble/jealousy and she is beaten by other members of the pack/clan (?) after they show her where to go to the bathroom and she unknowingly does her business on sacred ground, the trouble maker is sent away to live somewhere else.

Older alphas brother returns and it is the same boy that kissed her by the river when she was young. They end up sharing her. Rival clan/pack attack when alpha and his brother aren't there and they kidnap MFC and 1 other. They are rescued and have a HEA. The epilogue includes that they had a daughter and MFC returns to visit her blacksmith father
