Do folks want to move this to later in the month (or even next month)? I know I'm pretty booked up and I'm guessing others are too...
Next month would be great! I have been sick and haven't read anything these three days already... I am so behind...
I did it... I started....The Prologue is a MONSTER! 55 pages on my 6pt e-reader, which means it's probably 75 pages or more. But it draws you in, and I didn't want to stop reading... but I only made through about half before well, bedtime...
(view spoiler)
I also had to open Secret Project #3... probably do some book-jumping while reading...

Popped into the thread... been awhile since I did my series relisten (I think it was summer 2020)... so much happens in this series, and it's like 12-15,000 pages... and all of it happens in a span of 2-3 years... all between 998-1000NE, in-series calendar...

LOL WE NEED TO DO IT!!! You can go watch the TV show when done, that helps with the separation...Is it really only 2-3 years? I swear it feels longer...
Well, I didn't end up bouncing between WoT & Secret Project. I ended up one-sitting finishing Secret Project. Back to WoT Now! LOL Wot now. What now? WoT now!
Eye of the World starts in Spring 998, around Beltine...
Memory of Light starts in Summer 1000, but doesn't really give time details as the Last Battle plays out, to be 100% accurate on timing, from what I checked...

So fast... I knew the last few books had to be in less than a year, due to (view spoiler) but I guess I imagined there's been more than a couple years by that time...Through Chapter 13--still really enjoying it! But I'm doing most of my reading away from the computer and not taking notes... (view spoiler)
More thoughts but out of time... am on weekend trip with mom, sneaking chapters and comments when she's not looking...
This is my first reread--but I read it initially 10 years ago, soon after the last book came out. So long enough that this almost is like the first time again, I've forgotten everything! and thoroughly enjoying again.Up through Chapter 23 (view spoiler)
I feel like I need to do another Forsaken rundown....
(view spoiler)
Okay, that helps me get my brain straight a bit more.
I can’t remember the details, but Asmodean’s killer is revealed in the glossary of characters included in the physical/ebook copies of The Gathering Storm, if you want clarification…
We never get 100% in-book confirmation though...Just finished Chapter 27, and it had me laughing... (view spoiler)
I am at a family thing in Myrtle Beach and I have not had time for reading or listening at all... I am so sorry I am running late...

@Choko--I hope you're having fun at the beach! No worries on late, I kinda am bullying you into finishing anyway. ^^
Part I forgot to mention on Chapter 17--(view spoiler)Up to Chapter 34--(view spoiler)
Chapter 35--(view spoiler)
Chapter 37 first page holy moly... (view spoiler)
Iain, thank you for the timeline! That makes it easier to grasp...Logan, it has been intense and unputdownable so far! It is absolutely awesome!!!
Re. Ch. 17 one-upping:))) Hahaha! That had me laughing! Lovely moment for sure!!!Ch. 19-23... (view spoiler)
I have been listening while driving and I am about 1/3 of Ch. 37. When it started and it showed it was 9hrs and 04 minutes long, I actually thought it was a mistake! It is longer than most other regular books, for goodness gracious!!! That shocked me in itself. It has to be a record or something... Then I got into it and already I was saddened on several occasions, but I had to stop, because what I feared most (view spoiler)
Sorry I just barely been around the past couple days and missed replying in real time as you read! I'm going to have some catchup to do tomorrow. I'm sneaking peeks at your comments and nodding along with them... even as my head nods in demand of sleep...okay, just a little bit...

re: Chapters 1-2 (view spoiler)
re: 5-6 (view spoiler)
re: Timeline--I actually caught a line or two near the end where Perrin or Mat is thinking about how much has changed in just two years. I don't remember who.

Gaaah! I'm sorry I wasn't here to metaphorically hold your hand through the tense parts!
Yep, Egwene was apprenticing to the Wise Ones when Leilwin met Nynaeve and Elayne. This is why she doesn't have a relationship with her...Hahaha! Ghandi-Moiraine's zennes is awesome!!!:)))
Yeah, the two year timeline was confirmed several times. I noticed that too...
I REALLY WISH WE COULD HAVE A SEQUEL!!!!
Girl, this battle is going to kill me! My nerves are shot and I am an emotional mess reading it!
3/4 of Ch. 37, The Last Battle... (view spoiler)
I am jumping back into the fray! This is just so exciting! And the scale of the battle makes us feel like we are in the middle of it too!!! Just so good!!!!!
Ch. 45 to the END!!!... (view spoiler)THIS WAS AWESOME!!! I absolutely loved every second of it and the only thing I could wish for is a sequel, but done just as well, and unless it's Jordan or Sanderson, I don't know if it could be done...
Thank you for reading this magical series with me!!!
Thank you too Choko! It was so much fun reading your final notes. I'm sorry again I haven't been right here... been doing a lot of housework this week and been crashing before typing up anything more than what I'm specifically reading, if even that...I still am on the side of the Dark One being outside the pattern--especially since (view spoiler) but one of the great things about reading, and reading with other people, is that everything is open to interpretation and that's where the great conversations are!
I was so glad (view spoiler)
Agree!!! Still one of the best series EVER! And everything you said! It is just so hard to mention everything... It is just so vast and so much... Once again, thank you for reading it with me:)))!
