The Prologue is a MONSTER! 55 pages on my 6pt e-reader, which means it's probably 75 pages or more. But it draws you in, and I didn't want to stop reading... but I only made through about half before well, bedtime...
(view spoiler)
I also had to open Secret Project #3... probably do some book-jumping while reading...

Popped into the thread... been awhile since I did my series relisten (I think it was summer 2020)... so much happens in this series, and it's like 12-15,000 pages... and all of it happens in a span of 2-3 years... all between 998-1000NE, in-series calendar...

Is it really only 2-3 years? I swear it feels longer...

Eye of the World starts in Spring 998, around Beltine...
Memory of Light starts in Summer 1000, but doesn't really give time details as the Last Battle plays out, to be 100% accurate on timing, from what I checked...

Through Chapter 13--still really enjoying it! But I'm doing most of my reading away from the computer and not taking notes... (view spoiler)
More thoughts but out of time... am on weekend trip with mom, sneaking chapters and comments when she's not looking...

Up through Chapter 23 (view spoiler)
I feel like I need to do another Forsaken rundown....
(view spoiler)
Okay, that helps me get my brain straight a bit more.
I can’t remember the details, but Asmodean’s killer is revealed in the glossary of characters included in the physical/ebook copies of The Gathering Storm, if you want clarification…

Just finished Chapter 27, and it had me laughing... (view spoiler)

That doesn't count! LOL
@Choko--I hope you're having fun at the beach! No worries on late, I kinda am bullying you into finishing anyway. ^^

Up to Chapter 34--(view spoiler)
Chapter 35--(view spoiler)
Chapter 37 first page holy moly... (view spoiler)

Logan, it has been intense and unputdownable so far! It is absolutely awesome!!!

Ch. 19-23... (view spoiler)

okay, just a little bit...

re: Timeline--I actually caught a line or two near the end where Perrin or Mat is thinking about how much has changed in just two years. I don't remember who.

Gaaah! I'm sorry I wasn't here to metaphorically hold your hand through the tense parts!

Hahaha! Ghandi-Moiraine's zennes is awesome!!!:)))
Yeah, the two year timeline was confirmed several times. I noticed that too...
I REALLY WISH WE COULD HAVE A SEQUEL!!!!
Girl, this battle is going to kill me! My nerves are shot and I am an emotional mess reading it!
3/4 of Ch. 37, The Last Battle... (view spoiler)
I am jumping back into the fray! This is just so exciting! And the scale of the battle makes us feel like we are in the middle of it too!!! Just so good!!!!!

THIS WAS AWESOME!!! I absolutely loved every second of it and the only thing I could wish for is a sequel, but done just as well, and unless it's Jordan or Sanderson, I don't know if it could be done...
Thank you for reading this magical series with me!!!

I still am on the side of the Dark One being outside the pattern--especially since (view spoiler) but one of the great things about reading, and reading with other people, is that everything is open to interpretation and that's where the great conversations are!
I was so glad (view spoiler)
