Greyson walked down the side walk. It had been a couple day since he had been out.
Greyson wore a pair of Vans high tops, baggy jeans and an over sized t-shirt. He didn’t have his gauntlets on because he was only going on a walk and really didn’t want to use any power. His hands were in his pockets and the bandages up to his elbows had just been rewrapped. He carried an old looking scoreboard but hadn’t actually ridden it yet.

Greyson was looking down at his phone, his headphones around his neck. He wasn’t paying attention where he was going and had almost ran into a few a people. Then, he actually did run into some, the last person he wanted to see. “Ah- shit sorr-“ He looked up slightly at the person he had ran into, it was the Hero. “You gotta be fucking kindling..”
He took a few steps back. “Uhm.. probably a lot?” He said, putting his phone in his pocket and glancing away. “What, you don’t think I’m worth trouble? Apparently I’m worth staring at...” Greyson said, smiling slightly.
He smiled more. “I dunno, you’re getting pretty defensive about it.” He shrugged. “It’s whatever though. I suppose you’re going to like.. arrest me now or something?”
He tilted his head slightly. “Really? You’re not gonna.. like do anything? I’m right here and it’s not like I can fight back.” Took his hand out of his pocket, even though it was pretty obvious that he didn’t have his gauntlets.
“I dunno, even against you, a professional hero, I still put up a pretty good match.” He said, stepping aside as someone who also had their face in their walked by. “Where’d you get the ice cream?” He asked, looking past her in the direction she had come from.
“Maybe.” He said, looking at the van. “So uh.. do heroes get like, time off?” He asked, looking up at one of the billboards. It was promoting a new hover board that was pretty popular at the moment.
“It’s not really a job, we just fix the shit you guys fuck up.” He said. “So do you get time off or are you always just walking around?”
He watched her throw away the cup. “So what, do you do like patrol or something?” Greyson asked. For not wanting to answer any of her questions, he was asking quite a bit of his own.
“Are you on patrol now?” He asked. “Well, I guess if you were you would’ve arrested me, huh.”
“How is running into you lucky at all?” He asked, frowning slightly.
He smiled, seeing that he had got more than a monotone reaction out of her. “Yeah, I guess that is kind of lucky. So that’s just all you do, fight crime and eat ice cream?”
“Damn that must suck.” He said. “You should totally ditch that shit.”
“No, the ice cream is fine, I mean ditch the hero shit.” Greyson said. “Oh… I guess you’re like, a celebrity or something, becoming a vigilante probably wouldn’t be too good for your public image, huh.”
“I’m not a villain.” He said, rolling his eyes. “And that’s a horrible word, I have never littler ‘Villainous.’”
He looked down at himself and frowned. “This is not terrible fashion.” He then looked back at her. “And you can talk when aren’t we’re the most basic white girl shit ever.” Greyson gave her a light push on the shoulder, like they were best friends or something.
“Well, with that outfit, I guarantee you won’t have to worry about it.” He said, smiling. This was strange, he barely knew this girl and they were in different sides, and yet they were acting like they were great friends. He didn’t care though, if he could get on her good side he get a little me leeway.
He looked around, and just as he did a group of girls wearing almost the exact same thing Lyra was wearing. “That’s what I mean.”
“Oh, wanna see something cool?” He asked.
“Follow me.”
