I’ve opened a few spots on my calendar in January for free 1:1 live sample edits. These are half-hour or one-hour meetings with me about your manuscript’s final-edit needs.
Who would benefit from a live sample edit? — Anyone who’s benefited from the information in my webinars and would like some individual help with their self-editing — An author who, due to budget concerns, is considering taking on the task of completing their own final edits — Anyone who is considering joining the January-February round of my course, Prepared to Publish (If I think the course would be a good fit for you, I’ll tell you about it. That’s it! No commitment—just encouragement and advice.) — An author who is looking for an editor to professionally copyedit their fiction manuscript (Normal sample edits are still an option as well.)
If you’re interested, here’s what to do: — Pick a date and time that works best for you. — Send me a 10-page sample of your manuscript as soon as possible. The more time I have to review this sample before our meeting, the more I can help you. — During our call, I’ll go over some of the issues in the areas of copyediting and line editing. I’ll make some live edits and give you some ideas for improving your manuscript at the sentence and paragraph levels. I’d also love to hear about your writing goals.
This is a free offer, and space is limited. If you think a live sample edit could help you, sign up! I look forward to chatting with you.
