Kids' series about a rich boy and his exploits

A book series, at about a preteen reading level, about an English boy (they live in London) who's parents are very rich, so he has access to money, and I guess the various stories in the series are about his exploits as a rich boy. It sounds Richie Rich-like. Sorry I don't have more plot details. I'm asking on behalf of someone else who couldn't recall specific plot details. And she said she only read one in the series. She read it maybe 5 years ago, and it did not seem like an old book.
