Hi Kabadra, and welcome to our group. I tend to read more audiobooks than print books as well, though it's a bit different - I finish an audiobook faster than a print book because I tend to fall asleep lying in bed reading. I see you've started your challenge thread. I hope that you enjoy it.

Hi Everyone, I'm not exactly new, but I haven't been here in what seems like forever, so I'll introduce myself again. I'm Tricia, and I live in Indiana with my husband, 2 kids, a bunch of pets, and waaaayyyyy too many books. I enjoy spending time with my family; shopping; any kind of random trivia; and, of course, reading. Life has been a little crazy around here for the past year or two which is why I haven't been around, but I'm back now, and I can't wait to catch up with all of you. I've missed all the challenges, and I'm excited to make 2023 a great reading year.

I’m also not big on fantasy, though my bestie tried to convince me I’d like fairy porn, no clue what that entails or what it says about my friend’s perception of me. Words are my loves and it’s where my red shoes click the heels so I transport to my book journeys. Excited to make book friends!

I'm Fiona, 27 and from Germany. I love anything from mystery/thriller over romance to fantasy and historical fiction and I'm so glad to be back here! I struggled for a long time and I needed to get my life back together, plus I stopped using Goodreads as a whole (now I'm back tho!!) but I missed this group and all the awesome reading challenges so much that I decided to create a new account and participate again. I hope it's okay for y'all and that we'll have a lot of fun together :)

Hi all! My name is Heather and I found this group by searching for groups that do monthly and yearly reading challenges! How happy I am to see some familiar faces from another group I'm in (GR Choice Awards). I'm currently trying to figure out the logistics of getting started on the puzzles/badges. I love reading mysteries and my current series I'm working through is Ann Cleeves' Vera Stanhope series, but I also enjoy fiction, historical fiction, a romance now and then, non-fiction and biography. I'm looking forward to reading with you all!

I know for me when approaching the annual challenge this year (the puzzle one) I first just focused on Badge 1 and gophering (looking for books) books that I have on hand or really want to read. While I was working on that I noticed that I had several books that worked for the tasks in puzzles 1 and 2 so those will be the puzzles I work on for badge 2.
Feel free to check out other member's links to see how they have set their puzzle pages up - I always do :)

Welcome, Heather! Happy to see you here. Let us know if you need any help figuring out the yearly challenge. It can look a little overwhelming at first, but it's a lot of fun and pretty easy to coordinate once you figure it out.
