I have a very specific book plot that I'm craving, and that's the one where the guy only hangs out with, becomes friends with or dates the main character because of a dare or bet. He ends up actually falling in love with her and eventually his original aim is revealed to the main character.
Any good recommendations?

You might like Behind Frenemy Lines. It's that plot except the roles are reversed, so I don't know how helpful that is.
