I imagine one resolution we here on Goodreads don't have a problem with is reading.
But it is possible to get stuck in a rut.

I found a list of reading and writing resolutions on a blog. The title of the blog post was "Because Reading is Better Than Real Life". (Isn't that an awesome title?) I have copied some of the blog's list of reading resolutions here. Hopefully these tasks will inspire you to broaden your reading.

Duration: 1 year
You decide how many books to read for each category.
No page limits.
Books must be in the public domain.

Here are some of their reading goals:
1. Read ? number of books by authors that are new to me.
2. Read ? number of __________ books this year. (the genre of your choice)
3. Read ? number of hardback or paperbacks this year.
4. Read ? number of classics this year.
5. Listen to ? number of audio books this year.
6. Read ? number of books that you already own.
7. Read ? number of books in a series this year.
8. Read ? number of non-fiction books.
9. Read ? number of ebooks this year.
10. Read ? number of books with ‘____________’ in the title. Insert the word of your choice in the blank. It is your decision whether to allow the word to change. (plural, possessive, past tense, etc.).
