Allergy shots have been a huge help for me as well. I'm expecting spring to be hard this year, but it will still be better because of my shots.
I am very lucky not to suffer with allergies but my husband and a few close friends really suffer this time of year.

Boy you are fortunate. I woke up this morning at 5 because my nose was itching and I've been sneezing all day. I don't even have to go outside. And this is WITH shots.

I have found two nutritional products that have been tremendously useful. Both are from a company called Standard Process. The first is called CAl-AMO that is a calcium salt which "short circuits" the histamine reaction just like the medications for allergy do but with no dry mouth or drowsiness. I use this for quick and almost instantaneous relief when things get bad. It can be consumed regularly and has no known side effects. The other product I take is called Allerplex. It is not as immediate but when I take six per day (two per meal) it helps keep the allergies at bay over the longer term. If you try them, I hope you have as good of results as I have.
We went to Nashville, TN, for the 4th and as unbelievable as it is it wasn't that hot. We had a great time.
We r heading right now to Gatlinburg for a week. We live in FL so the heat won't bother us and we'll be happy for the lower humidity!

Agree. Seems like everywhere is getting overcrowded.

Text to Voice is a topic that has been discussed from time to time. I just decided that I was going to figure it out. I did a web search on Text to Voice and found several ways to make that happen. The one I choice is not perfect, it doesn't work with my ARCs, but it worked awesomely with the Kindle books I own and those I borrow from the library.I have an iPhone 12 with a Kindle app installed. I downloaded alexa to my phone and after some fiddling around told alexa to "read my Kindle book "Fire and Ice" by Julie Garwood" and it did!
This is the link to the site I found the most helpful:

Is there a way to find group members who live in or near my home town? I would like to start an in person book club.

Carmen wrote: "I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Where do you live?"I'm in Florida. That's a bit far! I'm trying to find a local book club and not having any luck. The one at my library reads books im not interested in. I like mysteries and classics and dystopians.

One is at Barnes and Noble. a murder mystery group. just perfect! The second one is a group of ladies who read all genres and meet in their homes. I went for the first time last night and they were a "hoot".

Glad you're enjoying it. The in person club I've gone to for more than 10 years is sort of falling apart because of our library facilitator.

I used to go to book clubs at Barnes & Noble but I had to stop when one of the participants kept on making religious/political judgments. It used to make me very cranky.

Has anyone read
or
books?I've read
-
and

. What is other's opinions on these books and have you read any of their other books?
I've not read any of those books but I do read books by the same author a lot. I suppose I get used to a writing style and stay with it for a while. I've read Louise Penny's books and of course Agatha Christies books.
